Who we are
This website is operated by Valence Partners, based in Barcelona, Spain (the “Studio”, “we”, “us”). The registered legal entity name may be updated as the studio finalises its corporate form; this policy will be revised when that happens.
For privacy requests, emailhello@valencepartners.com.
Data we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may process:
- Contact details — name, email, company, and the message you send via the contact form or email.
- Scheduling data — if you book a call through a calendar tool (for example Calendly), that provider processes the details you enter.
- Marketing identifiers — email addresses we collect may be used for internal studio marketing (updates about our services), where allowed by law and, where required, with your consent or a soft opt-in.
- Technical and usage data — IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and similar analytics or advertising signals when those tools are enabled and you have consented where required.
How we use data
- To respond to enquiries and qualify whether a sprint is a fit.
- To schedule and run introductory calls.
- To send occasional studio updates or relevant offers (you can opt out anytime).
- To understand how the website performs and improve it (analytics).
- To measure and improve advertising when we run campaigns (for example Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn), subject to your cookie preferences.
- To keep the site secure and meet legal obligations.
Legal bases (EU GDPR & UK GDPR)
Where EU or UK data protection law applies, we rely on:
- Legitimate interests — responding to messages, securing the site, understanding aggregate traffic in a privacy-conscious way.
- Contract / pre-contract steps — handling an enquiry that may lead to an engagement.
- Consent — non-essential cookies, advertising pixels, and certain email marketing where consent is required.
- Legal obligation — when we must retain or disclose information under applicable law.
Retention
We keep enquiry and marketing records only as long as needed for the purpose collected — typically up to 24 months for inactive marketing contacts, unless a longer period is required for a live engagement or legal claim. Cookie lifetimes are described in theCookie Policy (generally no longer than 13 months for consent-based cookies).
International transfers
If we transfer personal data outside the EEA or UK, we use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (and UK addenda where required), or another lawful transfer mechanism.
Your rights (GDPR / UK)
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in Spain, the AEPD; in the UK, the ICO).
To exercise these rights, emailhello@valencepartners.com.
US residents
Depending on your state (for example California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to know, delete, or correct personal information, and to opt out of certain “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. If advertising cookies or pixels are enabled with your consent, that may constitute “sharing” or targeted advertising under some US state laws — you can opt out via the cookie banner or by emailing us.
